Sale Of Knives And Bladed Articles
Proof of age is required to ensure customers are 18 years old or over when buying knives or other bladed products, so please do not take offence if we send an email to ask for proof of age.
General
All orders are processed and shipped within 24 hours of the order being placed and proof of age being received.
The average delivery time to mainland UK is within 48 hours of the time of ordering.
Whenever possible we use the fastest shipping option in order to ensure your delivery arrives promptly and safely. We always use shipping options that are fully tracked and will need to be signed for at your delivery address, and if the recipient appears to be under 25 they may be asked to provide valid photo identification to ensure that knives are not delivered to any person(s) under the age of 18.
UK Shipping Costs
Orders under the total value of £300 will be charged £10 for delivery. This will be Royal Mail Tracked 24 With Age Verification, next day delivery to mainland UK.
The cost of orders above the total value of £300 will vary depending on the order. More information can be obtained by contacting us.
Age Verification
We use the Royal Mail Age Verification service to ensure that knives are not delivered to any person(s) under the age of 18 in England and Wales, or age 16 in Scotland.
Royal Mail will ask to see a valid photo identification if the recipient appears to be under 25, in line with their UK “Challenge 25” policy, upon delivery.
Royal Mail will leave a ‘something for you’ card following any unsuccessful delivery attempt of an age-restricted parcel and will bring it to the nearest post office for collection with an age verification check. Alternatively, you can use the information on the ‘something for you’ card to contact Royal Mail to arrange a redelivery.
Although age-restricted items can't be delivered to a locker or a nominated safe place location, they can be delivered to a Royal Mail Local Collect Post Office / Enquiry Office / Delivery Office, for age verification at collection.
Photo identification accepted by Royal Mail: A Passport. A valid driving licence.
Shipping outside of the United Kingdom
Due to the nature of overseas shipping we cannot estimate delivery times.
All overseas orders are tracked and will require a signature at the delivery address.
