The Puntilla is a slaughterman’s knife used to incapacitate large animals during the slaughtering process, and also for skinning and preparing the carcass afterwards. This one has a 1095 forged carbon steel blade that has been etched to produce a deep patina, giving it an aged look. The handle is a flamed hardwood with steel ferrule and shaped crossguard, providing a safe and comfortable grip. Comes with a leather sheath, making it easy to store and transport.
