This Medieval Cleaver is based on a 16th Century woodcut print of a man using two cleavers for mincing meat. It would be ideal for use in a reenactment setting, but equally useful in a modern kitchen too. It has a forged high carbon steel blade, the flamed hardwood handle scales are attached to the full tang with six 2.5mm copper pins, and it has burnished brass shoulder plates. Comes with a leather blade guard.
